Enlisted Flight Pay

Enlisted members who are on flying status receive monthly flight pay. There are two kinds of flight pay: Career Enlisted Flier Incentive Pay, and Hazardous Duty Incentive (Enlisted Crew Member) Pay.

The Air Force and Navy pay enlisted members Career Enlisted Flier Incentive Pay, and the Army, Marines, and Coast Guard pay Hazardous Duty Incentive (Enlisted Crew Member) Pay.

Forthe Air Force and the Navy, enlisted flight pay is as follows:

For the Army, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard, enlisted flight pay is as follows:

Special Rules:

Enlisted members must have:
  • 6 years of operatonal flying duty in the first 10 years of aviation service in order to receive continuous flight pay through 15 years of service.

  • 9 years of operational flying duty in the first 15 years of service in order to receive continuous flight pay through 20 years of service.

  • 14 years of operational flying duty in the first 20 years of service in order to receive continuous flight pay through 25 years of service.
