Boot camps

Boot Camps In the Military Schools: Recruit training is the initial indoctrination and instruction given to new military personnel, typically in the enlisted ranks.

Officer trainees undergo a much longer program, either in an officer training academy or in ROTC (in the United States) at college level, since warfare has become much more complex and technological than in the past.

Boot Camps

There are several types of teenage boot camps.

There are short-term and long-term boot camps, there are state-funded jail boot camps, prison boot camps, and privately-owned boot camps.

There are boot camps that will take teens who don't want to be there and boot camps that will only take willing participants.

There are even weekend-long boot camps.

We believe that most teens will generally do better in a long-term setting. If the teen is young and just beginning down a negative path, sometimes a weekend wake-up call will help.

The majority of the calls we take, however, will need a longer stay, usually about one year. In most cases parents have tried everything before they decide to seek outside help.
